Crespect secures financing before official launch

Crespect, a legal tech startup from the Baltics, secured EUR 227,000 from the European Regional Development Fund. The company also obtained the first tranche of seed investment worth EUR 605,000.

Crespect stated that it will use the funds to finalize its product before the commercial launch. The software is currently in the pre-launch stage used by several law firms as early adopters. Crespect’s story is an interesting one.he software was initially developed by Sorainen law firm for internal use. The firm had been polishing it for more than 20 years before it decided to commercialize it. Crespect is thus a unique tool as it has been conceptualized and developed by lawyers for lawyers.

This can be seen from the list of Craspect’s features. It is essentially practice management software to be used for standard operations in a law firm, including time keeping, client management, budgeting, invoicing, etc. It even has a feature that helps lawyers with submissions to legal directories. It can’t get more lawyery than that. Crespect says on its website that new features are coming soon.

The official market launch is planned for the fall this year.
